Notice concerning the controller
The controller responsible for processing data on this website is:
Principality of Liechtenstein
The controller is a natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and methods of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
Withdrawing your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. An informal message sent to us by email is sufficient to do this. The lawfulness of the data processing performed prior to your withdrawal of consent remains unaffected by said withdrawal. Right to object to the collection of data in specific cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR).
Where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purposes of such advertising, including profiling to the extent it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (Objection on the basis of Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR).
Right to file complaints with the supervisory authority
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have a right to file complaints with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged breach. The right to file complaints is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract automatically handed over to you or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of data to another controller, this will only occur if it is technically feasible.
SSL and TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses an SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your URL bar. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transfer to us cannot be read by third parties.
Disclosure, blocking, erasure and rectification
As permitted by law, you have the right to access information free of charge at any time about your personal data that is stored as well as its origin, the recipient and the purpose for which it has been processed. You also have the right to have this data rectified, blocked or erased. For this, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. For this, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to review this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data has taken/is taking place unlawfully, you can demand the restriction of data processing instead of data erasure.
- If we no longer require your personal data but you do to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of the data being erased.
- If you have filed an objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, your and our interests must be weighed. As long as it has not been ascertained whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data.
Where processing of your personal data has been restricted, such data, apart from being stored, may be processed only with your consent, or for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending rights or protecting the rights of another natural or legal person, or on the grounds of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
Data collection on our website
Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. This includes:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically correct display and optimisation of its website; for this purpose, the server log files must be stored.
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you have provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up enquiries. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Thus, the data entered in the contact form will only be processed with your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time. An informal message sent to us by email is sufficient to do this. The lawfulness of the data processing operations performed prior to your withdrawal of consent remains unaffected by said withdrawal.
We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until such time as you request its erasure, withdraw your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer applies (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions—especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods—remain unaffected by this provision.
Our website does not use social plugins from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, XING and YouTube, i.e. no information is passed on to these providers when you visit our website. However, you may share content on your own profiles of said social media through our website by accessing links of said social media. You will then leave our website and be forwarded directly to the websites and features of the corresponding providers. You can find out what information they collect on you the respective providers’ privacy policies.
This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo uses “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and allow analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookies on the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before it is stored.
Matomo cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. The storage of Matomo cookies and the use of this analysis tool are carried out on the basis of Art. 6, para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.
If you do not agree to the storage and use of your data, you can disable this feature here. In this case, an opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser to prevent Matomo from storing your usage data. If you delete your cookies, this will mean that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted. The opt-out must be reactivated when you visit our site again.
Plugins and tools
YouTube with enhanced data protection
Our website uses plugins from the website YouTube, which is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode causes YouTube not to store any information about visitors to this website until they watch the video. The extended data protection mode does not, however, necessarily exclude the disclosure of data to YouTube partners. Therefore, YouTube will establish a connection to the Google DoubleClick network, regardless of whether you are viewing a video or not.
You will be linked to the YouTube servers as soon as you start a YouTube video on our website. The YouTube server is then informed about which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to directly associate your surfing habits with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
In addition, YouTube can store different cookies on your device once you have started a video. YouTube can use these cookies to gather information on visitors to our website. Such information is used, among other things, to capture video statistics, to improve user-friendliness, and to prevent attempted fraud. The cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them.
If applicable, starting a YouTube video may trigger further data processing operations. We have no control over this. YouTube is used in the interests of making our online presence more attractive. This constitutes a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
This site uses, via an API, the map service Google Maps, provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the features of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.
