The Body combines a silky matt surface with the typical characteristics of high-quality cowhide. Minimal pre-embossing creates a particularly uniform appearance in which the natural characteristics of the leather remain preserved. This makes the Body extraordinarily resistant without losing individuality and while increasing its softness. Despite its consistent appearance, distinctive grain structures characterise the cowhide and give it its unique effect, which comes to the fore in every piece of furniture. The Body is a 1.1 to 1.3 mm thick, slightly pre-embossed, covered leather, tanned on a mineral basis and dyed in a drum. It also features a wafer-thin, pigmented top coat.
